update apply

Function

The update apply command installs the downloaded update files.

Format

update apply { av-sdb | cnc | file-reputation | ip-reputation | ips-sdb | sa-sdb }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
av-sdb	Installs the AV signature database update files.	-
cnc	Installs the malicious domain name database update files.	-
file-reputation	Installs the file reputation signature database update files. NOTE: Only the USG6510E/6510E-POE does not support this parameter.	-
ip-reputation	Installs the IP reputation database update files.	-
ips-sdb	Installs the IPS signature database update files.	-
sa-sdb	Installs the service awareness signature database.	-

Usage Guidelines

If manual installation confirmation has been enabled by the update confirm command, run the update apply command to install the update files. If update files have been uploaded to the device memory using FTP, run the update local command to install them.
