Function

The web-apps-control type restrict-google-account command creates a Google account control policy and displays its view.

The undo web-apps-control type restrict-google-account command deletes a Google account control policy.

Format

web-apps-control type restrict-google-account name restrict-google-account-name

undo web-apps-control type restrict-google-account { name restrict-google-account-name | all }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
name restrict-google-account-name Specifies the name of a Google account control policy.

The name is a string of case-sensitive characters. If the name does not contain any space, the length ranges from 1 to 32 characters. If the name contains spaces, the length ranges from 3 to 34 characters, and you must use double quotation marks ("") to enclose it (for example, "user for test").

all Indicates the name of all Google account control policies. -

Usage Guidelines

Some enterprises attempt to allow employees to log in to Google services only with specified accounts but not their personal accounts. To achieve this, configure the Google account control function on the FW. Specifically, use the web-apps-control type restrict-google-account command to create a Google account control policy, and run the add header content command to add the specific domain names of accessible Google services, and run the restrict-google-account command to reference the Google account control policy in the URL filtering profile. In this way, the employees of the enterprise can use only the specified enterprise accounts to access Google services.
