Limitations and Precautions for PoE

Hardware Requirements

Only the USG6510E-POE supports PoE. Interfaces GigabitEthernet 0/0/0, GigabitEthernet 0/0/1, GigabitEthernet 0/0/2, and GigabitEthernet 0/0/3 support PoE power supply.

License Requirements

The power over ethernet function is not license-controlled.

Restrictions

PoE interfaces and PDs must be directly connected through network cables.
