Hardware Requirements

The SCTP packet forwarding and SCTP NAT are supported by all models.

License Requirements

The SCTP packet forwarding and SCTP NAT are not controlled by the license.

Precautions

• Each endpoint must provide all supported IPv4 addresses in the first INIT/INIT_ACK packet.
• If an INIT or INIT_ACK packet carries more than eight IP addresses, the FW ignores subsequent addresses.
• The four-way handshake must be completed using the same session. The source and destination IP addresses cannot be changed during the handshake.
• ASCONF or other methods cannot be used to dynamically add or delete IP addresses.
• The FW supports IPv4, but not IPv6 or Host-Name.
• The FW supports only RFC 4960.
