Limitations and Precautions for Intelligent Traffic Analysis
Hardware Requirements
Only the USG6615E/6625E and USG6635E/6655E support intelligent traffic analysis.
License Requirements
The intelligent traffic analysis function is not under license control.
Limitations
On the live network, link redundancy may exist in scenarios, such as ECMP.
The device exports unidirectional flow entries.
Statistics cannot be exported through the management network port, VLAN ports, or subinterfaces.
The device does not support traffic analysis for jumbo frames. It promises to supports packets whose length does not exceed the maximum transmission unit (MTU) configured on an interface.
Packets discarded by a traffic policy cannot be obtained for analysis.
Traffic analysis is not supported in scenarios relevant to path changes caused by link switchover, dynamic load balancing (DLB), or per-packet load balancing when the related flow entries are still valid.
