Configuring the Non-Label Public Network Route to Be Iterated to the LSP

Iteration of the non-labeled public network route to the LSP is mainly applied to the MPLS L3VPN in the networking of carrier's carrier. In this manner, the Internet traffic of the second carrier can be forwarded on the MPLS backbone network of the first carrier.

Context

Non-label public network route to be iterated to LSP tunnel is mainly applied to MPLS L3VPN networking of the secondary carrier.

For the exterior non-label route, the Level 1 Carrier CE is iterated only to the outgoing interface and the next hop. The traffic out of the Level 2 carrier station is forwarded through IP, rather than MPLS in the backbone network.

After non-label public network route iterated to LSP tunnel on CE is configured, Internet traffic of the Level 2 carrier is forwarded through MPLS in backbone network.

Perform the following steps on Level 1 Carrier CE:

Procedure

  1. Access the system view.

    system-view

  2. Allow the non-label public network route to be iterated to the LSP to forward through MPLS.

    route recursive-lookup tunnel [ ip-prefix ip-prefix-name ]

By default, the non-label public network route can be iterated only to the egress and the next hop rather than the LSP tunnel.
