Establishing BGP4+ Peer Relationships

Establishing BGP4+ peer relationships enables nodes on a BGP4+ network to communicate.

Starting a BGP4+ Process: Starting a BGP4+ process is a prerequisite for configuring basic BGP4+ functions. When starting a BGP4+ process, you need to specify the number of the AS that the device belongs to.

Configuring BGP4+ Peers: Devices can exchange BGP4+ routing information only after BGP4+ peers are configured and the BGP4+ peer relationship is established.

(Optional)Configuring a BGP4+ Peer Group: By configuring a BGP4+ peer group, you can simplify the management of routing policies, and therefore improve the efficiency of route advertisement.
