The api netconf enable command enables the API NETCONF service.
The undo api netconf enable command disables the API NETCONF service.
By default, the API NETCONF service is disabled on the FW.
When API NETCONF is enabled, the API NETCONF port number cannot be changed. Otherwise, connected API users are automatically disconnected. You need to run the undo api netconf enable command to disable the API NETCONF service before you change the API NETCONF port number.
After the default NETCONF port is changed, the new port does not take effect in the security policy. If you need to configure a security policy to control NETCONF traffic, use the default port.
After the API NETCONF service is enabled, it is not recommended that the administrator log in to the device through the web UI or CLI to configure the device. Otherwise, the administrator and the northbound API user may deliver configurations at the same time, causing configuration inconsistency between the northbound API controller and device.
