The default-route enable command enables the default route selection function.
The undo default-route enable command disables the default route selection function.
The default route selection function is enabled by default. When a packet matches the default route, if global route selection is configured on the FW and the default gateway address is configured for global route selection member interfaces (no default gateway is required for the Dialer interface and Tunnel interface), the FW selects an outbound interface for the packet based on the global route selection configuration.
After the undo default-route enable command is run to disable the default route selection function, when a packet matches an equal-cost default route, the FW checks whether the outbound interfaces of the route are global route selection member interfaces. If any outbound interface is not a global route selection member interface, intelligent uplink selection is not performed. Instead, the FW selects an outbound interface based on the load balancing mode configured using the firewall load-balance command.
