detect-mode

Function

The detect-mode command configures the working mode of a Layer-2 interface.

The undo detect-mode command configures the working mode of a Layer-2 interface to the default mode.

Format

detect-mode { inline | tap }

undo detect-mode

Usage Guidelines

If detect-mode tap is configured on an interface for bypass detection and anti-DDoS commands need to be configured, you must run the ddos-mode detect-only command.

If bypass detection is configured on an interface, all packets received by the interface are discarded.

WAN interfaces does not support this command.
