dhcp option82 rebuild enable

Function

The dhcp option82 rebuild enable command enables a device to insert Option 82 to DHCP messages.

The undo dhcp option82 rebuild enable command prevents a device from adding Option 82 to DHCP messages.

Usage Guidelines

By default, Option 82 cannot be inserted in DHCP message.

This command is only used to insert Option 82 on the interface on which a DHCP relay agent is configured.

After the dhcp option82 rebuild command is configured, insert the Option 82 in the DHCP message if the original DHCP message is not appended with Option 82. If the original DHCP messages are appended with Option 82, remove the original Option 82 and insert new Option 82 information.
