dhcp option82 rebuild enable interface

Function

The dhcp option82 rebuild enable interface command enables a device to insert Option 82 to DHCP messages.

The undo dhcp option82 rebuild enable interface command prevents a device from adding Option 82 to DHCP messages.

Usage Guidelines

By default, Option 82 cannot be inserted to the DHCP message.

The dhcp option82 rebuild enable interface command is only used to insert Option 82 into DHCP messages on the interface on which DHCP relay is configured.

After the dhcp option82 rebuild command is configured, insert the Option 82 into DHCP messages if the original DHCP message is not appended with Option 82. If the original DHCP message is appended with Option 82, remove the original Option 82 and insert new Option 82 information.
