Parameters

Parameter Description Value

trunk-id

Specifies the trunk ID.

The value ranges from 0 to 63.

mode { active | passive }

Specifies the mode for sending Eth-Trunk member interface packets. Only the Eth-Trunk in LACP mode supports this configuration. The default mode is active mode.

  • Select active, indicating that the LACP active mode is configured. The Eth-Trunk member interface in active mode proactively sends negotiation packets.

Usage Guidelines

An Ethernet interface can be added to only one Eth-Trunk interface. To add an Ethernet interface to another Eth-Trunk interface, delete the Ethernet interface from the original Eth-Trunk interface first. In addition, an Ethernet interface must be restored to the default configuration before being added to an Eth-Trunk interface.

Example

# Add GigabitEthernet 0/0/1 to Eth-Trunk 1.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/1
[sysname-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] eth-trunk 1
