Function

The fec-eth command configures an FEC mode for a 100GE interface.

Format

fec-eth { standard | disable }

Usage Guidelines

By default, the FEC mode of a 100GE interface is disabled.

If the link quality is low, enabling the FEC mode on the interface helps improve the link transmission quality and reduce the possibility of packet errors on the link. Ensure that the FEC modes of two interconnected interfaces are the same. Otherwise, communication may fail.

Only USG6712E and USG6716E support this command.
