Usage Guidelines

By default, the function that the device automatically disables an interface when the CPU usage reaches the threshold is disabled.

In a scenario where this function is enabled, when the CPU usage on the data plane reaches the threshold and keeps this status for 100 seconds, the device automatically disables interfaces in the list of interfaces that shall be automatically disabled and sends alarm ENTEXT_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.31.2.0.31 hwEntityExtCPUOverInterfaceDown. You can run the firewall exceeded cpu-usage shutdown interface command to configure the list of interfaces that can be automatically disabled. After the CPU usage of the data plane falls below the threshold, disabled interfaces cannot be automatically enabled. Instead, you need to manually enable them.

You can run the firewall exceeded cpu-usage threshold command to set the alarm threshold on the CPU usage.
