Using the firewall dns fast-aging enable command, you can enable the fast aging of DNS sessions.

Using the undo firewall dns fast-aging enable command, you can disable the fast aging of DNS sessions.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the fast aging of DNS sessions is disabled.

In a scenario where the fast aging of DNS sessions is enabled, after the device receives response packets from the DNS server, the DNS sessions are immediately aged, releasing system resources.

Enabling the fast aging of DNS sessions helps save session resources. In addition, when the NAT service is involved, this function saves NAT port resources.
