firewall dns fast-aging time

Function

Using the firewall dns fast-aging time command, you can set the fast aging time of DNS sessions.

Using the undo firewall dns fast-aging time command, you can restore to the default setting.

Format

firewall dns fast-aging time aging-time

undo firewall dns fast-aging time

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
aging-time Specifies the fast aging time of DNS sessions. The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 20 in seconds. By default, the value is 3. The value 0 indicates the DNS session is aged immediately.

Usage Guidelines

If you set the fast aging time of DNS sessions to 0, DNS sessions are immediately aged.

Example

# Set the fast aging time of DNS sessions to 5 seconds.
