firewall log session log-type binary version

Function

The firewall log session log-type binary version command sets the version of binary session logs.

Format

firewall log session log-type binary version { 3 | 8 }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
3	Indicates V3 binary session logs. The parameter indicates that the version number of session log packets (0x03), but not the version number of the FW.	-
8	Indicates V8 binary session logs. The parameter indicates that the version number of session log packets (0x08), but not the version number of the FW.	-

Usage Guidelines

The FW can send V3 or V8 binary session logs. On the basis of V3 binary session logs, V8 binary session logs add the user and application fields. In practice, select a binary session log version based on the version supported by the eLog server.

By default, V8 binary session logs are sent.

Virtual systems support V3 and V8 binary session logs.
