The firewall log session log-type netflow template command configures the FW to use the netflow template format to send netflow session logs to a third-party log server.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| template template-name | Specifies the name of a netflow session log template. | The value is a case-sensitive string of 1 to 32 characters. The string cannot contain question marks (?) or hyphens (-). If the string contains spaces, enclose the string with double quotation marks (""). In this case, the length of the string containing double quotation marks is 3 to 34 characters. The template name must be consistent with that configured using the session-log template template-name type netflow command. |
By default, the FW uses the default format to send netflow session logs to log servers.
Prerequisites
The session-log template template-name type netflow command has been used to set a template name.
The template id command has been used to define the netflow session log content.
Application Scenarios
You can configure a netflow session log template on the FW, define the netflow session log content, and run the firewall log session log-type netflow template template_name command to reference the template. Then, the device sends netflow session logs to the third-party log server based on the defined log content.
If you want to restore the session log content to the default format, run the firewall log session log-type netflow command.
