Usage Guidelines

The ipv6 enable command enables IPv6 on an interface. By default, IPv6 is disabled.

To disable the IPv6 function but reserve IPv6-related configurations, run the undo ipv6 protocol enable command. If you run the undo ipv6 enable command, all IPv6-related configurations are deleted from the interface. Use this command with caution.

Example

# Enable the IPv6 on GigabitEthernet 0/0/1.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/1
