Usage Guidelines

This command is available only on the LNS but not on the LAC.

In the RADIUS server authentication scenario, after receiving the ICRQ packet from the client, the LNS sends the calling-number field in the ICRQ packet to the RADIUS server. The LNS forwards the calling-number field in either of the following ways: One is to convert the calling-number field into the MAC address format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, and the other is to transparently transmit the calling-number field to the RADIUS server without converting the format. Whether to convert the format depends on the requirements of the RADIUS server for the calling-number field.

Example

# Convert the calling-number field to the MAC address format.
