lacp preempt delay

Function

The lacp preempt delay command sets the delay for LACP priority preemption.

The undo lacp preempt delay command restores the default delay for LACP priority preemption.

Format

lacp preempt delay delay-time

undo lacp preempt delay

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
delay-time Specifies the delay for LACP priority preemption. The value ranges from 10 to 180, in seconds. The default value is 30.

Usage Guidelines

The delay for LACP preemption refers to the period in which an inactive interface waits before it becomes active.

When the LACP preemption is enabled without a set delay, the system executes the LACP preemption in default delay.

Enable the LACP preemption function before you configure this command.

Example

# Set the delay for preemption of Eth-Trunk 1 to 60 seconds.

[sysname] interface Eth-Trunk 1
[sysname-Eth-Trunk1] mode lacp-static
[sysname-Eth-Trunk1] lacp preempt enable
