The lldp tlv-enable legacy-tlv pnp start-vlan command sets the type of the TLVs allowed to be advertised by LLDP to Legacy.
The undo lldp tlv-enable legacy-tlv pnp start-vlan command cancels the preceding configuration.
By default, the TLVs of the Legacy type can be advertised by LLDP.
In the cloud management campus solution, to manage cloud managed devices on the tenant network, the cloud management platform needs to allocate the ports for device management on these devices to the specified VLAN. After the management VLAN auto-negotiation function is enabled, the cloud management platform needs only to send the management VLAN ID to the FW. Then the FW sends the VLAN ID to the cloud switch through LLDP. The cloud switch then sends the management VLAN ID to the cloud AP. This ensures that the cloud managed devices use the specified VLAN ID for communication. The management VLAN ID needs to be transmitted through the optional TLVs of LLDP. Note that the TLVs must be of the Legacy type. In the cloud management scenario, after the FW connects to the cloud management platform, the configuration of TLV types allowed to be advertised by LLDP is delivered by the cloud management platform, and this command only executes the configuration instruction delivered by the cloud management platform.
