lldp tlv-enable

Function

The lldp tlv-enable command sets available TLV types on the interface.

Format

lldp tlv-enable { basic-tlv { all | management-address | system-capability | system-description | system-name | port-description } | 802.1-tlv { all | port-protocol-vlan-id | port-vlan-id | protocol-identity | vlan-name } | 802.3-tlv { all | link-aggregation | mac-physic | maximum-frame-size | power-via-mdi } }

Indicates a basic TLV.

Indicates interface description.

Indicates the TLV defined by 802.1.

Indicates the VLAN ID of a port.

Indicates all 802.1 TLVs.

Indicates the VLAN ID of a port protocol.

protocol-identity

Indicates the type of the port protocol.

vlan-name

Indicates the VLAN name.

port-vlan-id

Indicates the VLAN ID.

Indicates the TLV defined by 802.3.

Indicates all 802.3 TLVs.

mac-physic

Indicates the port rate and duplex mode.

link-aggregation

Indicates whether the port supports link aggregation or not and whether the function is enabled.

Indicates the maximum frame size supported by the port.

Indicates the power supply capability of the port.

Usage Guidelines

By default, all TLVs are allowed to be advertised.

Example

# Allow GigabitEthernet 0/0/1 to advertise the management address.

[sysname-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] lldp tlv-enable basic-tlv management-address
