The manager-user password valid-days command configures the validity period for the administrator password.
The undo manager-user password valid-days command restores the default validity period (90 days).
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
valid-days days |
Specifies the validity period for the password. |
It is an integer ranging from 0 to 999, in days. |
The last configuration for the password validity period takes effect. If the validity period expires, the device requires the administrator to change the password. Otherwise the login fails.
After the manager-user password-modify enable command is executed to enable a user to change the password, the password has a validity period. The default validity period is 90 days. If this command is not executed, passwords are valid permanently.
If the validity period is set to 0, the password will never expire, and the password change function configured by the manager-user password-modify enable command does not take effect.
