Function

The manager-user command creates an administrator account and displays the administrator view.

The undo manager-user command deletes an administrator account.

Format

manager-user manager-name

undo manager-user manager-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value

manager-name

Specifies the name of an administrator.

The value is a string of 1 to 64 case-sensitive characters.

  • The administrator account created in a public system cannot contain such characters as the vertical bar (|), backslash (\), slashes (/), colon (:), asterisk (*), ampersand (&), question mark (?), apostrophe ('), equal sign (=), number sign (#), straight quotation mark ("), less than sign (<), greater than sign (>), and at sign (@).
  • The administrator account created in virtual systems must end with @@virtual-system, where virtual-system is the name of the virtual system. The administrator accounts cannot contain such characters as the vertical bar (|), backslash (\), slashes (/), colon (:), asterisk (*), ampersand (&), question mark (?), apostrophe ('), equal sign (=), number sign (#), straight quotation mark ("), less than sign (<), greater than sign (>), and at sign (@). However, the @@virtual-system part is not verified, but the @@virtual-system part must comply with the virtual system naming rules.
  • When you create an administrator account, the account name must be different from command keywords.

Usage Guidelines

If an account exists, the manager-user command with that account specified displays the administrator view.

The undo manager-user command cannot delete an account in use.

Administrators cannot use this command to create or delete a superior administrator account.
