Usage Guidelines

A FW allows multi-IP login from users in a security group by default.

Temporary users are not controlled by the multi-IP login attribute of the user group or security group to which they go online. The device always allows temporary users to log in using multiple IP addresses.

The multi-ip online enable (local user view), multi-ip online enable (user group view), and multi-ip online enable (security group view) commands change the multi-IP login setting of a user, but the final setting is determined by the command that is executed last. You can run display user-manage userverbose name user-name to check the multi-IP login attribute of a user.
  • The multi-ip online enable command executed in the user group view is the same as the same command executed in the user view of all users of this user group.

  • The multi-ip online enable command executed in the security group view is the same as the same command executed in the user view of all users of this security group.

The multi-ip online enable only-self (user group view) and multi-ip online enable only-self (security group view) commands are one-off operation command and the result is not saved in the configuration file.

Example

# Disable multi-IP login from users in security group abc and its sub-security groups in a batch.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] user-manage security-group abc
[sysname-securitygroup-abc] undo multi-ip online enable
