new-security-group parent-security-group

Function

The new-security-group parent-security-group command adds the parent security group on the server where the new user resides to the local security group.

Format

new-security-group group-name [ parent-security-group group-name ] [ vsys vsys-name ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
group-name	Specifies the name of the parent security group on the server where the new user resides.	-
parent-security-group group-name	Specifies the name of the local parent security group.	It must be the name of an existing security group.
vsys vsys-name	Specifies the name of a virtual system.	It must be the name of an existing virtual system.

Usage Guidelines

When you run the command, you must enter the entire command, such as new-security-group abc parent-security-group bcd.
