Usage Guidelines

The default power supply standards for the FW's interfaces is 802.3at.

Usage Scenario

When a PD that complies with 802.3af or a non-standard PD that does not support 600 mA power supply needs power supply, you can run this command to change the power supply standards of this interface from 802.3at to 802.3af.

Precautions

  • If forcible power supply is configured on an interface using the poe force-power command, the poe af-inrush enable command does not take effect on the interface.
  • This command is used to supply power to some non-standard PDs. After the poe af-inrush enable command is run, power supply to some PDs that require high-current power supply may fail.

Example

# Switch the power supply standards of GigabitEthernet 0/0/1 to IEEE 802.3af.
