Function

The poe enable command enables PoE on an interface.

The undo poe enable command disables PoE on an interface.

Usage Guidelines

By default, PoE is enabled on an interface.

Usage Scenario

To supply power to the PD connected to an interface, ensure that PoE is enabled on the interface.

In automatic power supply mode, the power supply of an interface is determined by the PoE power and power supply priority of the interface. When the PoE power is sufficient, the device does not cut off the power supply to any interface. If you want to stop the power supply to a PD, run the undo poe enable command to disable PoE on the interface. Then, the device stops supplying power to the interface.
