Function

The poe force-power enable command enables forcible PoE power supply on an interface.

The undo poe force-power enable command disables forcible PoE power supply on an interface.

Usage Guidelines

By default, forcible PoE power supply is disabled on interfaces.

Usage Scenario

When the system power is sufficient, if the PSE cannot detect a PD, you can run the poe force-power enable command to forcibly supply power to the PD.

Precautions

Forcible PoE power supply to a non-standard PD may damage the PD. Therefore, exercise caution when running the poe force-power enable command. Before moving the FW, run the undo poe force-power enable command to disable forcible PoE power supply.
