Function

The scan-level command configures a scan mode for an asset.

The undo scan-level command restores the default asset scan mode.

level	Indicates the asset scan mode.	The value can be quick, normal, or deep. The value quick indicates the quick mode, normal indicates the normal mode and deep indicates the deep mode.

Usage Guidelines

The default scan mode is the normal mode.

The scan mode can be quick, normal, or deep. In quick mode, only the asset discovery task is executed. In normal mode, the asset discovery and asset identification tasks are executed in sequence. In deep mode, the asset discovery, asset identification, and deep learning tasks are executed. In deep mode, to accelerate the scan speed, the least-time-consuming asset discovery task and the most-time-consuming deep learning task are executed at the same time. After asset discovery is complete, asset identification is performed.

Generally, the normal mode is recommended, which can obtain most fingerprint information of the asset. If you need to quickly detect the online and offline information about assets and learn enabled common ports and services on the video network, use the quick scan mode. To learn asset details without considering how long the scan will take, you can use the deep scan mode.
