Function

The schedule enable command enables scheduled asset scanning.

The schedule every week command sets the weekly scanning schedule.

The schedule every day command sets the daily scanning schedule.

The schedule every number hour command sets the interval (in hours) for scanning assets.

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
week-days	Specifies the day of the week on which assets are scanned.	The value can be Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, or Sun.
start-time	Specifies the time at which asset scanning starts.	The format is hh:mm. The hh value ranges from 0 to 23, and the mm value ranges from 0 to 59.
number	Specifies the interval at which an asset is scanned.	The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 12, in hours.

Usage Guidelines

Prerequisites

The target-ip command has been used to set the IP network segment to be scanned.

The asset is online and the FW and asset are reachable.

Precautions

Asset scanning can be performed either weekly or daily, and the new setting overwrites the previous one.

If the current scanning task is not complete and another scanning task is configured, the system continues to complete the previous scanning task and does not perform the configured scanning task.

If the scanning interval is set to several hours, you can use target-port command to specify a port or change the scanning

interval to accelerate the scanning.

Follow-Up Task

By default, the asset scanning result belongs to the scanResult_ReservedBySystem asset group. After the administrator confirms the asset scanning result, you can run the parent-group command to move the asset to an appropriate asset group.

If scanning tasks are performed multiple times and information about an asset changes, the asset information will be updated. If information about an asset is manually modified by the administrator, the manual modification takes priority by default. That is, the manually modified asset information will not be updated by subsequent scanning. If you want the manually modified asset information to be updated by subsequent scanning, run the auto-update enable command to enable the automatic update function.

Modifying canning parameter settings during asset scanning is not allowed.
