The schedule reboot command enables scheduled restart of a device and sets the time at which the device restarts or the time the device waits to restart.
The undo schedule reboot command disables the scheduled restart function.
By default, the schedules restart function is disabled.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| at | Sets the time at which the device restarts. | - |
| exact-time | Specifies the time at which the device restarts. | The format is hh:mm YYYY/MM/DD. hh indicates hours, and the value of hh ranges from 0 to 23. mm indicates minutes, and the value of mm ranges from 0 to 59. YYYY/MM/DD is optional. |
| delay | Sets the time the device waits to restart. | - |
| interval | Specifies the delay before the device restarts. | The format is hhh:mm or mmm. hhh indicates hours, and the value of hhh ranges from 0 to 720. mm indicates minutes, and the value of mm ranges from 0 to 59. The value of mmm ranges from 0 to 43200. |
| force | Restarts the device at a specified time regardless of whether the user confirms the action. | - |
If the schedule reboot at command is used to set a specific date parameter (yyyy/mm/dd) and the date is a future date, the device restarts at the set time and the error is within 1 minute.
If no specific date is set, the following situations occur:
If the specified time is later than the current time, the device restarts at the specified time that day.
If the specified time is earlier than the current time, the device restarts at the specified time the next day.
After the schedule reboot command is run, the system prompts you whether to save the configuration before the restart of the device. If you enter Y but the interface card is not registered, the interface configuration may be lost after you save the configuration. Check whether the interface card is in registered state.
The gap between the specified date and the current date cannot exceed 30 days. After this command is used, the system prompts you to confirm the input information. The setting takes effect only after you enter Y or y. If the setting already exists, the current setting overwrites the old one.
If the system time is adjusted using the clock command or NTP clock synchronization is enabled after the schedule reboot command is run, parameters of the schedule reboot command no longer take effect.
