screen-length

Function

The screen-length command sets the maximum number of lines that can be displayed on each screen.

The undo screen-length command restores the default maximum number of lines that can be displayed on each screen.

By default, each screen displays a maximum of 24 lines on each screen.

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
screen-length Specifies the maximum number of lines that can be displayed on each screen. The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 512. Value 0 indicates that split screen function is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

If a query command displays a great deal of information, you can execute the screen-length command to set the maximum number of lines that can be displayed on each screen. Using the default value is recommended.

Example

# Enable each screen to display a maximum of 30 lines.

[sysname-ui-console0] screen-length 30
