screen-length temporary

Function

The screen-length screen-length temporary command sets the number of temporary lines in the screen of a specified terminal.

The undo screen-length temporary command restores the number of rows on each screen of the terminal set by screen-length.

undo screen-length temporary

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
screen-length

Specifies the number of rows displayed on the split screen.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 512. 0 indicates the split screen is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

The number of lines set through this command is valid only for the active user interface. The setting is not saved after the user leaves.

Example

# Set the number of lines in each screen of the terminal to 30.
