The server-detect command enables the emergency channel function on the FW.
The undo server-detect command disables the emergency channel function on the FW.
server-detect { haca-template haca-template | web-auth-server web-auth-server }
undo server-detect { haca-template haca-template | web-auth-server web-auth-server }
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| haca-template haca-template | Specifies the name of the HACA server template. |
The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters that can be only letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and dots (.). The value cannot be - or --. |
| web-auth-server web-auth-server | Specifies the name of the Portal server template. |
The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. Spaces, /, \, :, *, ?, ", <, >, |, @, ', and % are not supported. The value cannot be - or --. |
By default, the emergency channel function is disabled on the FW.
With the emergency channel function, the FW does not push the user-defined Portal authentication page to users when it detects that the Portal server is Down. To be specific, the FW does not authenticate users, and users can directly access network resources.
If multiple portal servers are configured using the server-ip command, the device detects only the status of the first portal server. If the first portal server is Down, users can directly access the network.
