Function

The set transceiver-monitoring command enables or disables the function of monitoring the optical transceiver power.

By default, Versions earlier than V600R007C20SPC300, the function of monitoring the optical transceiver power is enabled, V600R007C20SPC300 and later versions, the function of monitoring the optical transceiver power is disabled.

Format

set transceiver-monitoring { enable | disable }

Usage Guidelines

After the function of monitoring the optical transceiver power is enabled, the device checks the optical transceiver power based on the interval specified by the set transceiver-monitoring interval interval-time command.

If the optical power is abnormal or recovers from the abnormal state, the following logs are generated:

If the optical power is abnormal due to certain links or transceivers, you can run the set transceiver-monitoring disable command to disable the function of monitoring the optical transceiver power to prevent the preceding logs from being continuously generated.
