By default, when the device is powered on, physical interfaces are initialized and started.
The shutdown command must be used carefully. In some special cases, such as changing parameters of an interface, the configuration cannot take effect until the interface is restarted.
The shutdown, undo shutdown, and restart commands are not supported in the view of certain logical interfaces, such as NULL interfaces.
When a physical interface of the device is idle, that is, it is not connected to a cable, use the shutdown command to disable this interface, in case that disturbance may cause interface abnormality.
