The Eth-Trunk should work in 1:1 active/standby mode before the command is configured. If you need change the operation mode of an Eth-Trunk, run the mode command to change it.
After the command is configured, when the switchover between the primary and backup interfaces is performed, the active interface sends flush packets to inform the peer of the aging of MAC addresses. In this manner, the data transmission interruption that is caused by asynchronous MAC addresses can be avoided.
