Function

The snmp-agent trap enable feature-name ipstrap command enables the trap function of the IPS module.

The undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name ipstrap command disables the trap function of the IPS module.

Format

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name ipstrap [ trap-name hwsecipsthreatalert ]

undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name ipstrap [ trap-name hwsecipsthreatalert ]

Usage Guidelines

By default, the trap function of the IPS module is disabled.

To help the network administrator better understand the network operating condition, detect attack events in a timely manner, and take attack defense measures, enable the trap function if necessary.
