time-range (system view)

Function

The time-range command creates a time range and displays the time range view.

The undo time-range command deletes a time range.

Format

time-range time-range-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
time-range-name Specifies the name of a time range. The name is a string of case-sensitive characters. If the name does not contain any space, the length ranges from 1 to 32 characters. If the name contains spaces, the length ranges from 3 to 34 characters, and you must use double quotation marks ("") to enclose it (for example, "time for test").

The name cannot contain question marks (?) or commas (,). If the name does not contain any space, it also cannot have any double quotation marks ("). In addition, the name cannot be any or all.

Usage Guidelines

The FW supports the following types of time ranges:
  • Periodic time range

    This is a fixed time segment in a week, and it occurs periodically at the interval of a week.

  • Absolute time range

    This is the time segment with a specific start and end time, and it does not occur periodically.

# Create a time range and access the time range view.
