The traffic-policy discard packet trap enable command enables the function of generating alarms when packets are discarded due to traffic policy matching.
The undo traffic-policy discard packet trap enable command disables the function of generating alarms when packets are discarded due to traffic policy matching.
By default, the function is disabled.
After you enable this function, if any packet matches a traffic policy, the packet is discarded, and a packet discarding alarm is generated for the information center. For configuration of the information center, see Configuring the FW to Output Alarms.
