Function

The display default-parameter pim-sm command displays default configurations about Protocol Independent Multicast-Sparse Mode (PIM-SM).

The display default-parameter pim-ssm command displays default configurations about Protocol Independent Multicast-Source-Specific Multicast (PIM-SSM).

display default-parameter { pim-sm | pim-ssm }

Usage Guidelines

Using this command displays only default configurations, regardless of whether the configurations about PIM-SM or PIM-SSM parameters are changed.

PIM View Default Configurations

Indicates default configurations in the PIM view.

Auto-rp listening enable

Indicates whether auto-Rendezvous Point (RP) listening is enabled.

Bsr-policy

Indicates whether the legal address range of the BootStrap router (BSR) is set.

C-bsr admin-scope

Indicates whether the BSR administrative domain is configured.

C-bsr global

Indicates whether the Candidate-BootStrap Router (C-BSR) in the global domain is configured.

C-bsr group

Indicates whether the C-BSR in the BSR administrative domain is configured.

C-bsr hash-length

Indicates the global hash mask length of the C-BSR.

C-bsr holdtime

Indicates the waiting time for the BSR to receive the Bootstrap message.

C-bsr interval

Indicates the interval for the BSR to send Bootstrap messages.

C-bsr priority

Indicates the global priority of the C-BSR.

C-rp advertisement-interval

Indicates the interval for the Candidate-Rendezvous Point (C-RP) to send Advertisement messages.

C-rp holdtime

Indicates the waiting time for the BSR to receive the Advertisement message.

C-rp priority

Indicates the global priority of the C-RP.

Crp-policy

Indicates whether the legal address range of the C-RP and the range of multicast groups that the C-RP serves are set.

Bsm semantic fragmentation

Indicates whether the BSR fragmentation is enabled.

Hello-option dr-priority

Indicates the priority for Designated router (DR) election.

Hello-option holdtime

Indicates the time period for the neighbor to hold the reachable state, in seconds.

Hello-option lan-delay

Indicates the delay in transmitting Prune messages at a shared network segment, in milliseconds.

Hello-option neighbor-tracking

Indicates whether neighbor tracking is enabled.

Hello-option override-interval

Indicates the interval for sending Prune Override messages, in milliseconds.

Holdtime assert

Indicates the time period for holding the Assert state, in seconds.

Holdtime join-prune

Indicates the time period for holding the Join or Prune state, in seconds.

Probe-interval

Indicates the interval for sending Probe messages (empty Register messages) to the RP, in seconds.

Register-header-checksum

Indicates whether calculating the checksum based on information in Register message header is required.

Register-policy

Indicates whether the rule for filtering Register messages is configured.

Register-suppression-timeout

Indicates the time period for holding the register-suppression state, in seconds.

Source-lifetime

Indicates the timeout period of an (S, G) entry, in seconds.

Source-policy

Indicates whether the rule for filtering multicast sources is configured.

Spt-switch-threshold

Indicates whether the threshold of the multicast packet rate that triggers the switch from the rendezvous point tree (RPT) to the shortest path tree (SPT) is configured.

Ssm-policy

Indicates whether the Source-Specific Multicast (SSM) group address range is set.

Static-rp

Indicates whether the static RP is configured.

Hello periodic interval

Indicates the interval for sending Hello messages, in seconds.

Join-prune periodic interval

Indicates the interval for sending Join/Prune messages, in seconds.

Timer spt-switch

Indicates whether the interval for checking whether the multicast packet rate exceeds the threshold before the switchover from RPT to SPT is configured, in seconds.

Indicates whether PIM BFD is enabled on the interface.

Pim bsr-boundary

Indicates whether the PIM boundary is configured on the interface.

Indicates the maximum delay for the interface to send Hello messages, in seconds.

Indicates the version of PIM enabled on the interface.

Indicates whether the IP Security (IPSec) is configured on the interface.

Indicates whether the join-policy is configured on the interface.

Pim neighbor-policy

Indicates whether the neighbor-policy is configured on the interface.
