update local

Function

The update local command configures manual update of local signature database.

Format

update local { av-sdb | cnc | file-reputation | ip-reputation | ips-sdb | sa-sdb | location-sdb | asset-sdb | aie-sdb } file filename

Parameters

av-sdb	Indicates the AV signature database.	-
cnc	Indicates the malicious domain name database.	-
file-reputation	Indicates the file reputation signature database. NOTE: Only the USG6510E/6510E-POE does not support this parameter.	-
ip-reputation	Indicates the IP reputation database.	-
ips-sdb	Indicates the IPS signature database.	-
sa-sdb	Indicates the service awareness signature database.	-
location-sdb	Indicates the region identification signature database.	-
asset-sdb	Indicates the asset identification signature database. NOTE: Only the USG6510E/6510E-POE does not support this parameter.	-
aie-sdb	Indicates the artificial intelligence engine database. NOTE: For versions earlier than V600R007C20SPC300, only the USG6615E/6625E and USG6575E-B/6605E-B support this parameter. For V600R007C20SPC300 and later versions, the USG6610E/6620E, USG6630E/6650E, USG6635E/6655E, USG6680E and USG6712E/6716E also support this parameter.	-
file filename	Specifies the update file. You must upload the update files to the device memory using FTP or SFTP before the update.	The absolute path of a file is a string of 1 to 64 characters without spaces.

Usage Guidelines

If the device cannot connect to the network, download the update files from the security center (isecurity.huawei.com) to a PC and upload the files to the device memory using FTP or SFTP. Then run the update local command to update the databases.
