The online update modes of signature databases include scheduled update and immediate update. Generally, scheduled update is used. In some case, a signature database needs to be updated to the latest version immediately. If the scheduled update period does not expire, you can run the update online command to start immediate update. Before the update, you need to check whether the domain name or IP address of the update center is accessible.
