Web Configuration Reference for URL Filtering

This section describes the reference for configuring URL filtering on the web UI.

Configuring URL Categories: URL categories may be user-defined or predefined. You can either create user-defined categories or use the predefined categories to filter URLs.

Configuring URL Filtering: A URL filtering profile defines actions for URLs that match the blacklist, whitelist, user-defined categories, and predefined categories to allow or block access to these URLs. A remote query server is required to use the remote query function.
