The IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel function is supported by all models except the USG6510E/6510E-POE/6530E.
License Requirements
The IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel function is not license-controlled.
Restrictions
Different types of IPv6 over IPv4 tunnels support different dynamic routing protocols as follows:
- The IPv6 over IPv4 manual tunnel supports RIPng, OSPFv3, and BGP4+.
- The IPv6 over IPv4 GRE tunnel supports RIPng, OSPFv3, and BGP4+.
- The IPv6 over IPv4 automatic tunnel supports BGP4+.
- The 6to4 tunnel supports BGP4+.
- The 6RD tunnel supports BGP4+.
- The ISATAP tunnel supports BGP4+.
