Limitations

• Across-Layer-3 MAC identification does not support IPv6. Currently, only the ARP entries of Layer 3 devices connected through IPv4 addresses can be learned. ND entries of Layer 3 devices connected through IPv6 addresses cannot be learned.
• IP-MAC binding check cannot be used with across-layer-3 MAC identification.
• User-IP/MAC address binding cannot be used with across-layer-3 MAC identification.
