To establish an OSPFv3 neighboring relationship, devices need to exchange DD packets. DD packets are OSPFv3 unicast packets. By default, OSPFv3 unicast packets are forwarded under the control of security policies. In this case, you need to configure security policies to allow the transmission of these packets. Otherwise, the adjacency cannot reach the full state, and the adjacency cannot be established.
The number of entries in the IP routing table is limited, but that in the OSPFv3 LSDB and routing table is not limited. If the network where the firewall resides has excessive OSPFv3 routes, memory exhaustion and abnormal restart may occur.
Before enabling IPv6 on an OSPFv3 interface, ensure that an OSPFv3 process has been created. Otherwise, the OSPFv3 interface cannot be configured.
